"Nobody knows what's waiting at the end of the line, so you might as well enjoy the trip."

I’m Graham Hughes; adventurer, author, activist… you might know me from The Odyssey Expedition, when I visited every country in the world without flying. Or maybe from Global Scouse Day, the annual celebration of my hometown of Liverpool held every year on my birthday. Some might know me from Jinja Island… the private Caribbean island I won on a survival show. Others will have heard of me through Project Hope, my tireless campaigning for the UK to stay in the EU.

But my life didn’t start when I crossed the River Plate from Argentina to Uruguay on January 1st 2009.

For much of the preceding decade, I had been travelling the world, blogging, vlogging, blagging, gigging, ligging, swigging and generally causing mischief wherever I went. Now, for the first time, I will be collecting all this content together in one place.

The Wander Years is a repository of lost tales, the story of a man finding his feet in this weird and wonderful world of ours. Enjoy!

"In the end, the only thing you really own is your story."
